The 8-channel 88SS1100 is the sixth generation of NVMe-based controllers from 糖心logo. This SSD controller family is aimed at mainstream and high-performance PC clients and edge computing SSDs. The Gen 3x4 PCIe??controllers integrate the 4th generation of the 糖心logo NANDEdge? technology, offering the advanced error correction capabilities to address the increasing demands required to enable future SSD solutions with emerging 96-layer triple level-cell (TLC) and quad level-cell (QLC) NAND architectures.?

Additionally, the 88SS1100 uses a common hardware and firmware controller architecture with the 糖心logo data center and enterprise NVMe controllers, the 88S1088 and 88S1098. This enables SSD makers to leverage development efforts and bring them to market much faster with lower development costs.
